Giorgio Muratore (Rome 1946 – Rome 2017) was Professor of History of Art and Contemporary Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome. He held active memberships in ARTWATCH and DO.CO.MO.MO International. Muratore taught and held conferences at the universities of Bari, Milan, Venice, the School of Architecture of the University of Genève, the Architectural Association of London, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the School of Architecture of the University of Pamplona. The translation of this guide was part of the initial project back in 2007.
