Jerrad Lancaster is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Akron. He is an alumnus of The Ohio State University (BA), Swansea University (Ma, MPhil) and Royal Holloway, University of London (PhD). His research interests reach from the archaeology of the ancient Mediterranean to digital preservation of modern historical structures. This includes the uses of handheld and UAV-based photogrammetry. A native of northeastern Ohio, where he resides with his wife, he especially enjoys documenting and preserving structures of local historical importance.
