Jesús Salas Álvarez, ORCID 0000-0002-7364-4347 is Professor of Archaeology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and History from the Universidad of Sevilla, where he obtained her PhD in 2005. He has been a scholarship holder at the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He have investigated on the historiography of archaeology and antiquities collecting in Spain from the 16th to early 20th centuries. He furthered her studies in different international research centres, namely Italy and France. He has published a number of papers in prestigious scientific journals and publishers.
