Eóin O’Donoghue, Assistant Professor of Roman Archaeology at Brandeis University (USA), he is a native of Ireland. He studied Classics and Law at the University of Galway (Ireland) where he also received his Ph.D. in Classics (Etruscan Archaeology). He has previously held academic appointments at the University of Galway, King’s College London, and the University of St Andrews. He has worked with the Pantelleria Project since 2015. He also excavates at the Etruscan site of Poggio Civitate (Murlo). He has published articles on gender and social identities in central Italy and he has a co-edited volume on funerary archaeology in ancient Italy.
