Vitruvius is the journal of the Center for Vitruvian Studies. It is a scholarly periodical that aims to publish essays on topics related to all that pertains to Vitruvius and his work, the De Architectura, the only treatise on architecture that has come down to us complete from antiquity. The Centro Studi Vitruviani was born in 2010, with the aim of spreading the knowledge of classical culture and classicism in all its expressions, with particular reference to De Architectura libri decem by Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. The fields of reference of the journal are therefore multiple, given the vastness of the topics covered by the architect. It will host studies regarding the work itself, its genesis, its rediscovery, its editions, its fortune, and works concerning different "Vitruvian" fields, such as archaeology, ancient, modern and contemporary architecture, urban planning, music, hydraulics, gnomonics, mechanics and much more.
