The Rivista di Studi Pompeiani, established in 1987, is the journal of the International Association of Friends of Pompeii which was founded by Amadeo Maiuri in 1955. Its purpose is the “better knowledge of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplonti and Stabia”,
and support for the then Superintendence of Antiquities, the body responsible for the sites stewardship. The journal’s editors
have been subsequent Superintendents in office: B. Conticello (I-1987 to VI-1993-94), P. G. Guzzo (VII 1995-96 to XXX
2019). From vol. number XXXI-2020, the role of the Editor-in-Chief was taken by the Director of the Archaeologica Park of Pompeii, Massimo Osanna.
The journal is published annually and maintains an ANVUR class A classification

Authors are reminded to send to the Editorial Office any contributions for future issues of the Journal by December 31 of each year, in two copies (one of which in anonymous pdf), complete with images, a brief abstract, and a list of 5 keywords, both in English and in the original language.
