A new fragment of the Severan marble plan of Rome came to light during renovation works in a building of the Holy See. The fragment joins with fragment FUR 31ii, completes the inscription Circus Flaminius and shows a short section of the perimeter of the Theatre of Marcellus. This discovery allows the authors to propose a number of little corrections to the topographical features of plate 31 of the FUR. Further integrations to the knowledge of the relevant area derive from the results of the excavations during the demolition of the Ghetto and the building of the Synagogue in the early Twentieth century. On this base the paper presents some new consideration concerning the route of the Triumphal procession and the position of the Porta Triumphalis in the early Imperial period.
