In: Studi e Ricerche del Parco Archeologico di Pompei: 40, 2020
The excavations conducted in 2001 and 2002 in the atelier I 9, 9 provide a clear image of the pottery employed in a small artisanal
complex: some objects were used as containers for pigments or old vessels were reused and sometimes modified for different purposes. Also,
from these assemblages it was possible to reconstruct the pottery employed in different chronological contexts and its variation; the main
chronological horizons are: the second quarter of the 2nd century BC, the first half of the 1st century BC, the Augustan age, the Tiberian-Claudian age and the third-quarter of the 1st century AD.
