A thin sheet of bronze inscribed in Umbrian characters in the Civic Museum of Modena is a modern copy of the famous, and important, bronze sheet found in Fossato di Vico (Perugia) inscribed with a dedication to the goddess Cupra. If this is the fake found in Bolsena, on which the inspector F Guidotti reported to the Ministry of Public Instruction, then it was probably executed immediately after the discovery of the original (in the second half of 19th century). It cannot be ruled out that the copy, made without particular artifice that would indicate it was intended as a forgery, is simply a teaching device or reproduction.
