The expression formula Mucci Scaev‹o›lae that can be read on the tablet depicted in the frescoes of the "Villa del Gurista" in Rome presents particularities both in the use of the term formula, not frequent in similar expressions, and in the use of the genitive of the person's name. The article seeks, through a comparison with some significant witnesses under these two profiles, to provide a contribution to the deepening of the new document in terms of dating and, consequently, of the identification of the jurist mentioned.
