The following is the study and documentation of the restoration of a Greek inscription in a burial site newly discovered during an emergency excavation in the first section of the via Ardeatina, near the Catacombs of Domitilla. The inscription is of a curse put on a small group of individuals, possibly the servants of a wealthy household. According to the excavation data, paleographic analysis, and other elements contained in the text, the inscription dates back to the first century A.D. This is confirmed by its comparison with an already-known agonistic Greek curse discovered in the same site previously. In fact, both share the same epigraphic technique and form.
